COMMUNION as part of PRAYER
TAKE COMMUNION AS OFTEN AS YOU CAN
Acts 27&28
Have you gone through something that totally wreck your life. Maybe the loss of a loved one, Family member who is now suffering from a terrible disease or disorder, your marriage being Shipwrecked, Children being torn apart and suffering in the midst of it, May be unemployed, Lost your job, Can't find any work, have no income, Have no resources And no help. What is your shipwreck? No matter what your shipwreck is, you can be like Paul, Surviving and shake off a poisonous snake and been left totally unharmed.
What was Paul's Secret? Acts27:33 " Before they ate Paul took bread and gave thanks and then broke it and begin to eat. What was he doing? He was Taking communion in the middle of a Shipwrecked. Paul took bread. (Bread in the Strong’s mean: bread used at love-feast, ate at the Lord's table) Paul wasn't eating any kind of bread, he was eating the bread that was representing the body of Christ, the same bread that was served at the table at the Last Super with his disciples. Paul took the bread, gave thanks to God and broke it. The word broke there in the Strong’s, means, "used in the New Testament in breaking of bread for Communion” Paul stopped in the middle of the violence of the storm and the terror and the fright of the impending shipwreck and took Communion. That’s most probably the reason why he and everyone on the ship survive and was un-effected by the snake-bite's poison.
1.Take a piece of bread and the cup and say:
Lord Jesus, I know as I eat Your broken body and drink Your Blood poured out for me, that I have he victory from this shipwreck, You have healed me of every wound in my soul that came from this trauma that I am living through and every other trauma I've ever gone through. I decree that as I partake of the goodness of Your sacrifice, you have saved me from this shipwreck. I have come out of it, alive and well and that even if a snake bites me in the middle of a storm, I will, be left totally unharmed.
PARTAKE IN COMMUNION AND DO IT IN REMEMBERENCE OF HIM.
Verse 20 All hope that we will be saved was given up. Have you been in the dark? No son no stars to give you direction off which way to go nearby. Not knowing which way to navigate or to turn. Do you feel you have got to the point that the temptations has beaten so hard that you completely given up hope being saved.
2.Take Bread and the cup again in your hand and say
Lord I believe that as I eat your broken body and drink your blood poured out for me that I will see the stars and sun and be able to navigate my position in the mid off this storm and will not be in the dark anymore. I will hear your voice, I am your sheep and your sheep hear your voice and I believe that if there is anything in my soul that's not allowing me to hear your guidance that it's going to be healed now as I partake off your body and your blood and I repent for giving up all hope that I wouldn't be saved, I know that's a lie. You never leave me and will never forsake me, your love is unconditional no matter what I've done and what I've been through. You will never love me less, You will love me more than I could ever imagine. So I know that I can still have hope and I can still be saved and know that my hope will come to pass and I will continue to have hope in you, knowing I will be saved from this shipwrecked. Thank you for your body broken for me and your blood shed for me. I do that in remembrance of You.
Acts 27:18 violent battering from the storm, they threw the ship tackle over board, the ship tackle was all the cranes and heavy things to unload and offload the ship, it also include baggage, personal baggage, possessions of everyone on board also all the food that they were going to sell to live on. How bad is your shipwrecked? Have you lost all your personal belongings, have you lost the very things you used to load and unload cargo? Your ways of bringing financial income and increase into your life and business in your ministry? Have you even have to throw overboard the wheat, the very things you survive on Paul and all the crewmembers had to do it all and yet they survive at the end.
3.Take your bread and cup.
Father I've lost everything in the shipwreck, every provision, every way to make money, every increase, everything I need to survive on, yet I know the truth that your word says that you will provide for all our needs according to your riches and glory I believe you lord I do not believe what I see or feel in the storm. If there is anything in me that's allowing the losses to continue I believe that as I partake of the Lords body and drink his Blood, that I will be healed in my soul and that I will prosper and be in health even as my soul prospers, so I partake now.
Acts 27:42 soldiers planned to kill the prisoners on board to prevent them from swimming away and escape but the centurion wanted to spare Paul's life and kept them from carrying out their plan.
Has this shipwrecked almost taken your life? Maybe you have lost everything or are going through a deadly disease, cancer in the body, heart problems, respiratory issues, blood disorders, etc. The soldiers plans were to kill the prisoners but God intervene and made the centurion want to save Paul and the rest of them.
4.Take your bread and cup again.
Lord Jesus this shipwrecked is trying to kill me but I know how much you love me, you love me so much you sent your only son to die for me and to heal me off every sickness, disease and disorder that I my suffering from. I decree that even though these soldiers on the boat may want to kill me, You will intervene now my Father and save me from the plans of the enemy. As I take another piece of your body broken for me and drink your blood, I believe my soul Will be refreshed supported and strengthened I believe my soul will be nourished and I will be healed of every single thing in my inner man that's allowed this sickness to enter me and allow me to be in the middle of this shipwreck. As I eat the bread and drink the cup I know that I will be healed in my soul and that I will be prosper and brought into health even as my soul is prospered.
Acts 27:21-22
Is your shipwreck a crisis you face? With a family member, are losing a loved one that is passing away, a child that's gone wayward, a friend or family member that is on the streets involved in drug abuse or some other kind of devastation? are you fighting for someone's life right now according to Acts 27:22 there will be no loss of lives among you, only the lost off the ship and in the and everyone on board was saved. While Paul was taking communion, he said not a hair will fall from the head off any of you. Please take communion again and belief that not a hair will fall from the head off any of our loved ones, there will be no loss of lives because everyone will make it out of this shipwreck and swim ashore to safety.
5. Father we partake together believing for our loved ones believing for everyone who is sick, in distress, gone missing, is Wayward, is backslidden, is in rebellion, is offended or angry. As we partake of your broken body, Lord Jesus, and your blood, we believe that you are healing the souls of those, the loved ones and friends in our lives. We put our faith on the power off communion to save them from the shipwreck. They will not lose a hair off their head there will be no loss of lives and they will exit the ship and swim ashore safely. We decree it right now as we partake of your broken body and your blood.
At 27:28-29 Did someone abandoned and leave you in the middle of the storm? Did they bailed out on you and left you alone, have you found yourself angry, offended and hurt at that person? Are you totally rejected and abandoned lets partake in the Lords communion now to be healed of those wounded areas of our soul that came from being abandoned.
6. Lord Jesus I forgive anyone that abandoned me in the middle of my shipwreck. Lord I forgive them and I let them go and I repent for getting offended of them, bitter at them, critical at them, bothered by them, and for letting myself feel rejected and abandoned. I am in your hands Lord, in the middle of this storm and I know you are going to bring me out of it. I am not alone you never leave me and you will never forsake me. It doesn't matter who had abandoned ship in the middle of this storm, I have you and I trust you Lord to see me through. I will come out of this shipwreck alive and well and I will overcome.
Acts 28
Most probably the reason why this snakebite and poison had no effect on him was because he took communion while he was still on the ship. Do we feel that after a shipwreck another disaster is coming at us? just as he thought he was alive and ashore he then was bitten by a deadly viper. The enemy knows how to wear us down he will put us through a storm then a shipwreck and then following it up with a demonic serpent that bite you all in plans of taking your life. In those moments we can get tired, weary and think to ourselves will this ever end, yet it did end. The Bible says not only did he shake off the creature, but he was left totally unharmed. Then he even went on to be welcomed by all the people on the island and laid hands on everyone on that island that had a disease and they all were healed. Your victory is right around the corner. You are going to break out off that all and then start seeing signs and wonders manifest.
Numbers 21. The Israelites were so discouraged. Have you been so discouraged family members abandoned you, spoke ill about you, have your friends turned their backs on you, coworkers difficult to deal with, they gossip, strife at work even at your home or at church, have you been let down, wounded, hurt by a leader, pastor, your boss or spouse?
We all have been traumatic experiences that left our soul feeling much discourage, because of the way. However, when we let ourselves get wounded by offenses, by difficult times, by stressful situations then it can cause our souls to become wounded. When your soul is wounded it opens you up to demonic attack. Numbers 21 says, the people became much discourage because of the way and the venomous serpents came and bite them and many of them died. Many times when we become discouraged from all the trials we have to live through we allow ourselves to complain out of those wounds, we begin to grumble about our situation, we begin to criticize other people, we begin to complain about everything around us.
We need to babysit our soul, when our soul become discouraged and we starting to feel the pain, disappointment, rejection and situations become very intense and overwhelming, we need to be careful. When our souls become wounded because of the terrible situations that we had to endure, there could be a big temptation to speak against God and against leaders, instead of giving thanks and keeping our faith high.
7. Let's take the bread and the cup.
Lord Jesus I repent for allowing myself to get discourage from all the terrible things I had to deal with. I know if I respond to those situations in faith and trust in you that you will see me through them. But if I let myself get discourage my soul will become wounded and I will open myself up to be bitten by a deadly demonic snake. So as I partake of the broken body of Christ and he's blood poured out for me, I believe that the elements of the Lords supper are going to do what Jesus said they would, that I will not thirst anymore that my soul will be refresh supported and strengthened, that as I painfully and eagerly long for those things that my soul needs, to bring comfort and healing to my soul, that I will get it. The Bread will do just that. Heal me of every wound that came when I was much discouraged. As I drink the cup, I will get what the word "cup" means, to receive into the soul, to refresh, strengthen and nourish it. As I drink of the cup of Your blood my sins will be washed away every time, I let myself discouraged and my soul will receive into itself refreshment strengthening and nourishment. So as I partake of this bread and cup I believe that I am going to be totally healed and I will no longer be much discourage and I will no longer have anything in my soul that will allow a poisonous snake to bite me and even to try to kill me. 8. Take a piece of bread and the cup and pray:
Lord, I forgive anyone who has hurt me. Please forgive me for speaking against them for being bitter and criticizing them. I will not put blame on anyone I will not complain about them, instead I will forgive them
